Greetings.

This is my first post to this newsgroup.

After 36 years out of the family, my father's bike is coming back to us...in
pieces.

I'll need a shop manual and some parts.

Any suggestions on where to start, I'd appreciate it. I've Googled a lot,
but haven't come up with much.

Nice bike - there isnt a shop manual as such , you'll have to figure it out
from the owners handbook and the parts catalogue.
Leon is very knowledgable as a starting point:

The VMCC would be worthwhile joining too - they have the factory despatch
books.

I picked the bike up today...actually picked up the pieces....about 95% of
it.

Now the fun begins...
