Yep, anybody our age claiming to have good fashion sense, you just
show 'em a picture of themself from the 70's...

At least, so far, nobody's reporting they have that short mileage
experience with those tires, so maybe I've been mislead by the people
I talked to.

Thanks Dean. Yeah, it is nice when your wife shares a love of riding
with you.

Hey, maybe someday they'll make a special pill you can give, to change
those that don't.

We used to load up both bikes...until I started towing a trailer. Now it
don't matter if we're going 20 miles or 2000 miles. I carry everything and
her bike is empty. She does have a set of small saddlebags for gloves/water
bottle, etc, but the rest of the gear is on me.

Doin' burn-outs with the wife's new bike and getting caught... I
think I had a nightmare about that once!

I remember how big my wife's eyes got when I "accidently" pulled a wheelie
on her old Sporty. The blows started coming about 15 sec after I parked
it...I think she gave me just enough time to get clear of the bike.

Hell, I had a plaid polyester sport coat back then. In those days, a
teacher had to wear a coat and tie.

Didn't John Philip Sousa write a march about it? "Plaids and Stripes
Forever" or some such <g>.

Mebbe on a crotch rocket, but not on anything I'm willing to ride,
that's for sure.

Shirley - we're thirsty, and I just pulled out a new card.
