CRF 450 transmission drain plug I have a '04 and an '08 CRF 450. The '04 drain plug got cross threaded and now there aren't any threads left. I was very careful with the '08 plug (I bought it new a few months ago for $4395 - bam!) and yet I can now feel that the threads are slightly buggered up. It will only get worse from here. Which oil to use on the DRZ400? Time to do an oil/filter change on the DRZ400 and wonder if I should go with semi synthetic or just normal SAE10-40. Manual recommends 10-40 and makes no mention of anything synthetic. Are there pros/cons for either?
