The jap model didn't ship with Brembos or marchesinis I'm pretty sure - you've got something someone has done a nice job of upgrading on - the brakes where the only thing dodgy about the trx - I replaced mine with R1 blue spot calipers which were a bolt up swap. Strongly recommend staintune - it has the nicest note of any of the trx's I've heard (and I've heard quite a few) the remus is too raspy, the over system is made of unobtainium and is hence deadly expensive. Staintune sounds exactly the way it should sound :-) JL (ex trx owner)

PS the Japanese model is speed restricted (190 I think), its a cut out based on the speedo IIRC (google it) you can change the speedo to Oz model to remove the restriction JL
