The jap model didn't ship with Brembos or marchesinis I'm pretty sure
- you've got something someone has done a nice job of upgrading on -
the brakes where the only thing dodgy about the trx - I replaced mine
with R1 blue spot calipers which were a bolt up swap.

Strongly recommend staintune - it has the nicest note of any of the
trx's I've heard (and I've heard quite a few) the remus is too raspy,
the over system is made of unobtainium and is hence deadly expensive.

Staintune sounds exactly the way it should sound :-)

PS the Japanese model is speed restricted (190 I think), its a cut out
based on the speedo IIRC (google it) you can change the speedo to Oz
model to remove the restriction

interesting i knew the jap imports came with brembo brakes, didnt know about
the marchesini's tho (might be the brembo cast ones)

i didnt mind the sumitomo's on mine, i just went for braided lines and a HH
goodridge pads.

the front forks can be a little light weight, stiffer fork springs help out
there

i had laser pipes on my first one and roo racing ones on my second
