Fred: No problem. Here what I did with Amsoil online. I went to the
dealer locator & found a guy that is a Amsoil dealer (Not a
storefront. Just a reagular person) I called & spoke with what I
needed. Shot him an e-mail & this is how $4.96 got me Amsoil full
synthetic 10W-40 scooter oil.

Just check the service marks on the back of the bottle -- there are
several service marks that are compatible with my Honda Helix, and
it's easy to find the right oil.

The AMSoil insists on a oil filter change on all 5,000k/3,000m oil
changes, whereas most other oils don't need near that many oil filter changes.

Some people change the filter anyway since your there, it's not too much
of an extra hassle except on maxi scooters and heavily fairinged jobs like Honda
Helix, or a Coast Pacific type....with to many nooks and crannys..

......................Right, car oil has a much lesser engineering tolerance
specification, than micro specific M/Cycle motors, and has magnesium in it,
which kills the palladium in your catalytic converter....

Few M/Cycles except mine "Yammy Majesty 400" have one of those redundant
eco things...legally it don't really matter.................yet.

and when did I EVER suggest using oils with friction modifiers? Diesel oils like
Rotella-T have a better additive package than some motorcycle oils. I'd give the
links up but lost them during a pc rebuild.
