Gaskets Main and big end shells Camchain and all tensioner bits Oil pump Rings Odds n sods (e.g. clutch centre nut) Admittedly, this is a tuned engine, so you don't skimp on things like rings, shells etc - that list is the basic minimum that Slick would replace when doing an engine refresh. -- Champ neal at champ dot org dot uk

Pattern complete gasket set is 40-50. Camchain and tensioners another 50-60. A few oil seals, new oil filter, bits and bobs: 250 is about right. Gets pricey when you start replacing pistons, rings and the prinary chain, let along gearbox parts (but 've never actually heard of a gearbox breaking). -- BMW K1100LT Ducati 750SS Triumph Street Triple Honda CB400F Suzuki TS250 Suzuki GN250 chateaudotmurrayatidnetdotcom Nothing damages a machine more than an ignoramus with a manual, a can-do attitude and a set of cheap tools
