The only really good heated grips I've ever encountered have both been OE - Triumph and BMW. Daytonas on other bikes but the hot setting is too hot and the cooler setting is too cool; thank God for heated gloves. I used to have BMW heated grips on a previous K100RS and they were excellent. Assuming I keep this one I intend buying some BMW heated grips but AIUI I have to replace the bars as well which makes it rather expensive. The Triumph grips I had on a Tiger were equally as good. -- Kevin '08 1400GTR, '07 K8 Hayabusa,'02 Dyna Super Glide,'92 K100RS, '93 ZZR11, '90 FJ12 http://www.last.fm/group/ukrm

You don't need to replace the bars, you just have to drill one hole in the centre to feed the wires out of. I found it a bit of a pain feeding the wires through and ended up taping them to a length of old clutch cable and feeding that through first but once I'd sussed that out the whole job took about an hour. They're certainly the best heated grips that I've ever used but they're about double the price of Oxford or Daytona ones so you'd expect them to be good.
