If you really think about it, John Browning's 1911 design is still one of/the best auto pistols you can buy, although not DA. It is an excellent defense/carry/competition weapon. How old is it? :-) As for polimer pistols, I don't see (personally) where anyone has been able to improve on the Glock. Many have copied it, many marketing departments say it is "better" and make points to prove that, but I don't see it. As for SIG, I don't like their pistols. That's just me. However, I'm sure many a shooter is in love with them. I'm not one of them. All this is just my $.02.....your mileage may vary. MrScottly#54

However, just like a Guitar,Bass,Helmet,Motorcycle,Firearm,Beer, or etc... the personal choice one wants all depends on the individual, and how it works FOR them. Purchase what works FOR YOU!
