Old BMW panniers famously suffered from Krauser Disease when they
would suddenly fly open and eject contents all over the road. Which
is why so many older Beemers have panniers wrapped in occy straps.

I giggled when I noticed the Norge panniers have a clip obviously
designed to make sure that can't happen....

No Nev, it doesn't

Are you saying that you want to be a friend of mine Nev?

would this be because you are a non-judgemental person who hasn't a gripe in
the world

or is it because I have a 900 Bol Dor sitting in the shed waiting?

They do seem to be.

I had a bit of a chat, after they said they didn't have any panniers to
suit my bike.

The person suggested that for the right panniers in good nick, I'd
probably be up for about $600.

Well, when I had the K100RS, I _loved_ the cop (sorry, city) panniers. I
actually had the big tourer ones as well, but I think I only used them
twice.

As for spending up big, I contacted the pommie mob that Boxer suggested.
Postage turned out to be about the equivalent of buying three panniers. :-|

But three pommie panniers are still less than buying two panniers at
full price in Oz.

Wrong thread. I think this is the thread where you've got a sandblaster
in the shed ... I don't remember.
