Still pouring the Bloody's, running out of celery so better hurry up.

Today's 20 minute project will be running the Gerbing battery harness onto
the frame. Where on an Ultra do you run the harness through/to and where do
you tie the coax end plug?

Perhaps you should take it to the dealer.

Most folks I've seen just have it hanging out the left side like the
pigtail for a battery tender, towards the front of the seat. If you have
a permanent mount controller, like on my bike, I have the end of the
cable mounted in the tank dash panel so it appears as a jack.

Bite me.

Thanks. I was going to do that, I think Bob does it have way but also
thought that since I've got the rider backrest, I could bring them up
through there and either store them in the backrest pocket (wires hanging in
the back though) or keep it pushed in the hole and pull them out for use.

I don't think our cat blinks ever. Maybe I'll try that ball-peen. It's been
pissing me off for years.

I had all of my connections just hanging out loosely under the seat,
direct from the battery for easy access.

So YOU bite me!

Never had a problem for 13K miles, with many at 18 degrees below!

Of course, I only used the HD/Gerbing Gloves, and a battery tender.

Can't speak for the Ultra, but on our Road Glide I just run
'em up through the slot in the seat for the backrest. Puts mine just
to the rear left, & hers to the front left. Plenty of wire on the
controler to reach.
The other advantages are; no holes to drill, easy storage, &
with an adaptor you have two ready to use Battery Tender connectors
that don't go bad every third time you use 'em.
