Basically the Hyosung stinks of petrol. I've checked all my hoses and
that sort of stuff, none of them are actually leaking or anything like
that. Today I've just gotten home and noticed I have a couple of drips
underneath it.
The drips are not coming from the tank though - there's an overflow (?)
hose about 2cm thick that comes from the rear of the motor almost next
to the clutch, goes up about an inch before curving back down to drain
near the chain. It has an odd end on it that starts round but ends up
in a small slit about the size of a 5c piece. There's a drop there now -
I have no idea what the hell it's for, tho evidently it's some sort of
drain or overflow. Where it comes from on the outside of the motor looks
damp also.

It also looks like I have a leak near the fuel gauge, but there is
nothing on the outside of that hose to indicate it is getting dripped on
so I guess I have 2 leaks.I cleaned and dried all that last night, so
it's definitely losing some there too.

Any suggestions on what it is / should do etc ? I hate stinking of
petrol but happy enough to work on fixing it if I can.

If it was insured and I'd get a payout for deliberately setting it on
fire in the garage .. maybe. Thanks or the lol though.

As it is I just want to be able to sit in the garage, use the computer
and not get stunk out :)

Are there carb overflows at all?

Is the bike a bit hard to start?

could you have worn needles/seats so that petrol's getting into the
motor with the engine off?

Does it take a while after a ride for the smell to appear?

Hi Zebee - There's an overflow on both carbs, neither of those is
leaking at all. The bike starts fine, hit the button and off it goes
first go.

Worn needles / seats ? Not sure what you mean there. That the things
that get changed to add more fuel (in the carby) ?

The smell seems pretty much all the time, soon as I pull up at the house
I can smell it.

In case it's relevant I haven't changed the plugs (or filter now I think
about it) since I got the bike. Could that be to do with it (tho it runs
fine - just the smell)

Yeebs.
