I wouldn't like to think that Hertz would be defending me in court.

The end of the decade is being talked about as a realistic target,
however, reports I have read have mentioned fine collection only, not
penalty points harmonisation.

There still, fortunately, so few fixed cameras on our route to the
chateau that I know them all. Out of solidarity and to foster the
entente cordiale I always go through them exactly on the limit saluting.
There are five now IIRC. One extra last trip.

Those currently on the scumball rally this weekend, one has been pulled for
speeding, driver had licence taken, told no more driving in france (dunno
how long for)
+ 160 Euro fine.
Another got 90 euro fine for drink driving but that was it. (they were
passing bottles between cars as they cut up the police car)
But like you say, different matter being a French car.
good luck!

I'm aware of that. Fair play. I'm just wondering if they send the ticket
to Hertz or to me.

Actually its all in place, was in court last week and saw 3 points on
a frogs licence

Why it does not happen as a matter of course is that its a paper chase
of monumental proportions.
