After that 4th session, I had to sit there in my underwear with my
riding pants around my ankles. It just didn't matter - totally
overheated. Hydrate or die!
The weird thing is how it didn't hit me until I stopped. And then I
went out and did it all over again, and again. It's not for sissies.

On an obscure side note,
I went out afterwards and had a hankering for a bloody mary. It was a
poor choice. The first sip sent every pore in my mouth and throat into
full pucker; perhaps as some reaction to excessive mouth-breathing or
maybe dust exposure. I had to walk outside of the bar it hurt so much.
The pucker lasted about five minutes and then the very same drink was
delicious.

Here are some tips for Rocky Hill:

First, lot's of water and a bag of ice is a must. Bring cups too so you
can just pound it down. We buy tang or Gatorade powder and mix it lean
to flavor the water, but fresh, clean, sugarfree water is a must.. And
like I said, spend the 2 dollars on a bag of ice when you get your gas.

Bring shade, I saw you have a popup, I would suggest picking up at least
one solid side to block sun, rain showers, or wind especially if someone
has already parked up by the trees where you were. The rest of the track
has no cover at all as you noticed.

Check the direction of the wind when you come in. Usually it blows over
toward the "dance party" parking area, that is why we park over in the
field. Rarely, the wind is reversed, and then we park at the DP area.
That "moon dust" can be just brutal if you are parked in the wrong place
as the bikes keep it kicked up real good. Believe it or not, the dust
the other day was about a 4-6 on a scale of a possible 10. You want to
be parked where you can escape it. Not to mention on a bad day you can
go home with a 64th of an inch of the finest, lightest powder covering
every exposed surface of you, your rig, the hauler, just everywhere.

Without getting too redundant about the dust I will simply say, change
your air filter after every ride at RH, no exceptions unless it's a
rainy day ride, period, nuff said...

Rocky Hill is technically a farm, which means they can not spray for
bugs. So far this year the low areas have been somewhat dry but I would
never even consider going there without a can (I keep two or three) cans
of your favorite mosquito repellent. I can tell you that folks who use
Deep Woods Off, usually end up using my Cutters for better results, when
they come out there it is brutal. The sun can go down and you can take
10 minutes to wrap up without spray and come out with tons of bites...

And finally a recommendation unlike the above "must do" items. If you
can bring in a pressure washer and water (there is no on site supply)
you should wash your bikes before you go home. On a wet day you can
carry home 100 lbs of mud, seriously. You really don't want to bring
this stuff to your yard where you wash your bikes, it will do a number
on the grass and your yard..

Anyway, I got to run. Got to get The Mouse ready to go to our
Hot
Thirsty
Dusty
Buggy
Muddy
...... FREKIN PARADISE!!!

YEAH, IT'S THE MOUSE HOUSE, CAN YOU COME OUT AND PLAY??
