The impact pushed the center of the doors in (they're wood) 6 inches and bent the lock bar (1" dia tube). Frame of the doors got beat up from getting them open. Didn't even knock my helmet off the shelf inside. Go fast. Take chances. Mike S.

This event remember a friend of mine who rear-ended a luxury car (can't remember which) with his falling apart vw beetle: "my car is an old beetle, it has drum brakes, you have four wheel disk brakes and abs, you can't stop like that in front of me!" lol! The guy let my friend go, as probably his (uninsured) car didn't worth what the fix would cost and my friend was unemployed back then... Glad you came out with no body damage! -- T
