Actually there is exactly such a federal law on the books, lobbied in by
none other than NRA. It worked extremely well when it was enforced in
Richmond, Va. The problem is that local prosecutors use it to plea bargain
convictions on lesser crimes. In an ideal world, an armed robber would get
X years for robbery then another five for using a gun - once he is
convicted. In our world prosecutors would rather play golf than work to get
convictions. So the same armed robber gets offeres a sweetheart sentence
for the robbery and the federal charge is dropped to get him to plead. Why?
Think about it. How many police, prosecutors and judges would we need if
there was no crime. It is their nightmare!

What a dumbass statement. THEY ARE BANNED! How much more control can you
get?

Sleep well tonight,

RD (The Sandman)

Let's see if I have this healthcare thingy right. Congress is to pass
a plan written by a committee whose head has said he doesn't understand
it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it, signed by a president who
hasn't read it, with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didn't
pay his taxes because he didn't understand TurboTax, overseen by an obese
Surgeon General and financed by a country that's nearly broke.
What could possibly go wrong?
