You too, eh? In the last fortnight, as well as the well-publicised loss of my job I have also (Tues) left taps running in the bathroom and flooded the living-room below and (Thurs) suffered a posterior vitreous detachment in my right eye, leaving me with a cloud of "floaters" in my vision which almost made me seasick with their rapid and distorted movement[1] as I tried to update my CV this morning[2]. If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all... [1] Rather like the Knoppix animated cursor! [2] I probably need to change my emacs colour default from black on white to green on black until the floaters dissipate. -- Ivan Reid, School of Engineering & Design, _____________ CMS Collaboration, Brunel University.
