The foot valve was junk, so I had the pleasure of climbing down he well to replace that piece. The 24 foot ladder must of made a mess of the bottom - had lots of floaties. After the 10 gallons of bleach shock, it took several days to clear the bleach, then a week or so for the water to completely clear up. It looks good now, and I was too lazy to get a test kit, so I did a "down 4 glasses and wait 24 hours" test, along with my wife and her friend. No one got explosive diarrhea the next day, so the water has been proclaimed good to go. JayC |
