I did, and what a PITA. Turns out the pump was fine, just had a
clogged jet. The foot valve was junk, so I had the pleasure of
climbing down he well to replace that piece. The 24 foot ladder must
of made a mess of the bottom - had lots of floaties. After the 10
gallons of bleach shock, it took several days to clear the bleach,
then a week or so for the water to completely clear up. It looks good
now, and I was too lazy to get a test kit, so I did a "down 4 glasses
and wait 24 hours" test, along with my wife and her friend. No one
got explosive diarrhea the next day, so the water has been proclaimed
good to go.
