Is there any mileage in taking mine to a Police Station for some form of confirmation before I send it off for its 10 year photograph renewal? -- Vass

I've been pondering this and it seems keeping the old one and ordering a replacement costs 20, and getting a new one whilst sending the old one back also costs 20.. so maybe best just not to send the old one back with your update request.
