From: A.Lee on 28 Aug 2008 01:46 I'm just in the process of sorting out the excess spare parts for my Morini basket case. I have at least 2 starter motors, along with the relevant clutch and engine covers. One of these covers is currently at 26 on ebay, so it'd be worth selling them. From all reports I've seen, the electric starters are a waste of time. Is this true? I was thinking of keeping the motors for spares, but if they are useless, I may as well get rid. Also, when I put it back together, is there any point in putting in the electric start motor? I've not got a problem with the kick start, and if it is as useless as predicted, it'll just be dead weight to be carried around. Any thoughts? Thanks Alan. -- To reply by e-mail, change the ' + ' to 'plus'.

There's one thing I've found the electric boot good for - when the bike's been standing a bit and is less keen than normal to start, you can get jump leads off the car battery and make it turn over good and proper. It's also handy (provided it will actually start the bike) for that embarrassing moment when you stall the bike at a traffic light or similar. -- Austin Shackles. www.ddol-las.net my opinions are just that Travel The Galaxy!
