From: DeadEyesOpened on 15 Aug 2008 00:26 Up for sale is this great 1927 Harley Davidson JD model motorcycle ALONG WITH the entire museum display that matches it. All pieces listed are included in this sale. We will not break up the display to sell separately. View more details here: http://tiny.cc/6TasY The bike is a beautiful museum display bike... everyone always goes to this display first, and its the last thing they linger over before leaving. It is always the most talked about display. It was been used in several promotional videos, events, photo shoots, and calendars. It is a 1927 with 1929 cases, and it is a non-runner (motor is internally incomplete). Auction comes with con rods and flywheels (shown) and we believe all it needs to run is pistons/valves/rings. It was put together by someone else years ago as a museum piece only. We believe most everything is original HD, but we do know the primary chain cover and battery box are reproduction parts. Along with the bike, the following items are also included in this auction: One restored Bennett gas pump- custom paint, lighted display case installed with glass shelves, 7'6" tall, 24" wide including hose One restored Opaco double-pumper oil cart, approx. 36" long, 22" wide, 52" highcustom paint, patent date 10/16/23 One restored Gasboy pump model 100, custom paint to match display, 5' high, 17" x 17" at base One very early Sight Feed Generator Co.
