From: Switters on 17 Apr 2010 08:29 I currently look after a domain for someone and forward it to some webspace elsewhere. The provider that I'm looking at moving to for my hosting doesn't really do framed forwarding, so I'm looking for somewhere to look after this domain and do framed forwarding to a particular URL which includes a pathname, so it's not just a simple host redirect. I looked at a couple of places as recommeded on here previously for domain registrations, and whilst they mention that they do forwarding, they're light on the details of exactly what's possible. If I google, I get lots of hits, but would like a FOAK recommendation.

Also does catchall email forwarding as well as standard. They *might* charge a small fee for a domain pointer - last time I did it it was free.

Hostroute would be my recommendation. -- Dnc

Nope. I could possibly do it with some apache rewrite rules, but I'm not sure I can be bothered. It's about time my mate looked after his own domain. :)
