Well I got one in the end anyway. bit buffety around town but things smooth
out as the speed increases... looks nice though.

Oh yeah, the reason I bought a naked bike instead of a faired bike was
because I wanted an ER-5 as it suits my iffy back and it was only 2.5K brand
new.

Not many faired and comfy 500's in that price range.
