Agreed: I ate there a couple of months ago and it was very nice. Nice beers too. I'm told the Highwayman further out towards Cirencester is very good for food too, although I haven't personally eaten there for years. If you end up in Longford, the Queen's Head at the end of Longford Lane does very good food (http://www.queensheadlongford.co.uk/). The next nearest, the King's Head at Norton, isn't as good since the old landlord left (my opinion). -- R. |
