Used to be if it was over 15 years old, then they changed that to
pre-something, I thought it was pre-85.

Does it matter? If you had the means and the bank balance to import an
RC45 as an investment, the last thing you'd be wanting to do is devalue
the bloody thing by riding it on the road.

Hmm, I dunno. I would want to ride it. Yes, as you say, if you bought
them as an investment, then so be it.

But I've bought rare bikes before and bloody well ridden them.
Probably the reason they are rare :-)
