Look, maybe this is just me. I am seeing news reports with large numbers
of people milling about saying "we need help". And also (apparently)
large numbers of dead bodies that are going to cause disease.

They don't have shovels? Dig graves, guys.

Ah, I have seen no references to that. If it's so, I withdraw the
thought.

They probably need to do some kind of formal identification
before burying them as well - and with everything fucked up

You get that in any disaster , most people wait to be told what to do
its the way we are conditioned , in Haiti the whole government
structure has collapsed (it wasnt that effective prior to the quake)
