The dirt is only somewhat churned, the tree is missing some bark,
though. I carefully plucked the bark from my chest protector so it
could return to mother earth.

Turning a center-punch into a glancing blow is a useful skill.

well sir Spode-O-lot, I'm glad all those jousting runs
proved useful, I've been known to ricochet occasionally
of Douglas fir & sometimes to do the big spitball approach
where you gently wrap all your body parts around the
offending object then gently ooze to the ground. Since
I've slowed down (as if that's even possible to go slower)
I haven't had many physic's checks.
