From: Greg O on 26 Nov 2009 22:39 Annie got out her cooking apron and went crazy in he kitchen, turkey, and ham, plus all the fixins'. We are gonna be eating left overs for a week, but hey! At least there is food in the house! On a side note, my mom and Annise's folks showed up. Her dad is 90, and his health is questionable. Her mom is 81(?), and still full of spunk. WE were just finishing up dinner, all was ok, and then her dad just about passed out! He could not talk, was sliding out of the chair, and kind of in and out of consiousness. We figgered his numer was up and Annie called 911. Well the EMT's showed up, loaded him up, and off to the hospital. Annie, her mom and our daughter all went to the hospital to keep and eye on things. My mom and I stayed behind to clean up the dinner mess. Two hours later ALL of them pull into the drive, the doc wanted him to stay overnight, but he wanted to go home! Seems it was Annie's cooking that about did him in, (well, sort of!). The old man is diabetic, blood pessure problems, you name it, and the good chow got him over eating, and the doc figgured it tripped his Vagus nerve, http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-the-vagus-nerve.htm , which dropped his blood pressure to the bottem and slowed him down. He come out of it on his own, and wondered what all the fuss was about. Right before this happened, He said he just wanted to lay down and rest , then a minute later we figured he was in trouble. Later, He kept telling his Missus, and Annie that he would have been fine, but if you were there you would have thought differant! -- Greg O PoorUB BS#287 2010 Ultra - Wow! 2005 Ultra, long gone and forgotten

All you gotta do is show up. Eat their food, drink their booze, then when you have had enough, go home to a clean house! he only down side is no leftovers! If your place is anything like ours we live for leftovers, literally! I think we we would stave to death if company did not show up once in a while so Annie would have an excuse to cook!! -- Greg O PoorUB BS#287 2010 Ultra - Wow! 2005 Ultra, long gone and forgotten
