Truthfully, if I was riding around the country instead of just to work
and around town, I would seriously consider windshields and fairings.
I just think seeing an old fart climb off a bike without windshields
and fairings is kinda cool, especially if it's an antique. Seeing a
really old fart climbing off any two wheelers is even cooler.

When I was babysitting an R6 a few months ago I got some comments
riding it around. Not that I'm that old, but I do have gray in my
beard and at 51 certainly don't look like a spring chicken. That bike
sure was fast.
