No one should ride a motorcycle, the damn things are dangerous.
Anyone who chooses to ride one when he or she could get in a car that
is infinitely safer is obviously deficient in reasoning capacity.

Why on earth do people assume that because someone asks about the
color of something, they haven't thought about the other features of
the item? Perhaps the questioner already thought abot a half-helmet,
a non-D.O.T. beanie, and a full-face helmet and chose the 3/4-helmet
as the best choice for them. Maybe all that is left is to decide
what color to get, in which case, the color IS important to the
purchaser.

Sheesh, what a bunch of cats waiting to pounce!

I wore my D.O.T. half helmet almost every day riding to work in July,
when the average temperatue was 93.1 degrees. Obviously, I have no
clue what I'm doing when it comes to riding motorcycles. Or,
possibly, I'm aware of the increased risk of wearing the 1/2 helmet
compared to one of my three full face helmets, and balanced that
against the discomfort of riding home in a full face helmet when it is
103 degrees and 70+% humidity on the way home in the afternoon, and
made a conscious decision to accept the added risk, jkust as I did
when I chose to ride the motorcycle in the first place, instead of
driving my 3/4 ton pickup.

Hell, we don't even know that the original poster *has* a pretty face
to keep intact. She could be HIDEOUS.

Yep, cause anyone who wears a half-helmet on a motorcycle is going to
be killed as a result.

There is no such thing as riding safely, of course.

I just bought a front-face-only helmet, because protecting my skull
and the back of my head is pointless. But I'll be SOOOOOOO pretty if
I smash face first into the pavement!
