The race that started in Key West a week ago yesterday was
finished this morning in Homer Alaska. A little over 7000
miles in a little over 7 days.

A guy from our HOG chapter was in that race. I want to hear all the
tales about that one.

Well that's negative thinking....the gentlemen will at least have the
knowledge they competed, played fair and endured.

I've read a couple of accounts from people that don't trust the
organizer and that he's been involved in shady deals in the past.

One of the requirements for being considered a winner is to submit
to a lie detector test (no speeding allowed). Can you imagine being
one of the first across the finish line and during a lie detector
test being asked if you ever went over the speed limit? "Well,
there was that one time, trying to get out of the way of the guy
that was tailgating me..." "YOU'RE ELIMINATED! NEXT!"

Evie went to watch the finsih, must a been great fun
I sure hope it's legit.
I have heard more bad than good so far.
It's a wonder they even pulled it off.

From the numbers, 190 hours and the miles 8482.
44.64 mph average, day and night ?
And the staggered start ? how could there be a tie ?
