Which bits of the 10R came from an earlier model?

To me the classic parts bin specials were early Bandits but I suppose
it all depends on how closely you look at the bike.

What parts from my bike were and who mentioned earlier models anyway?

Parts bin special to me means it shares a number of components with
other models in the range. Your ZX10R shares a few bits with ZX6Rs and
a few other bikes, just like mine does.

Obviously your idea of a parts bin special is different to mine.

I'd take it to mean that the bits are nicked off older bikes that
weren't used because it was out of date and in particular engines,
exhausts, frames, suspension, wheels and brakes.

I don't think many of those parts on a ZX10R were nicked from the bin
but you know enough about Kawasakis to be able to correct me. Go for
it...

Talking of which, it appears that the Street Triple has exactly the
same front end as a 600 Hornet.
