I used to just leave the cage insurance to auto-renew with (then) Cornhill Direct. When I eventually did the confused.com bit, I got, among others, a range of 10 quotes from different brokers, all offering the same CD policy with a price spread of over 150 - the original direct renewal quote being the most expensive. When I questioned the methods of the insurance industry on here I was told ("by those who know")that it was far too complex to explain, but that it was perfectly reasonable. -- Rob_P UKRM(at)indqualtec.co.uk uppercase(d) BBIWYMC#1 BOG#11?
