You were right to give them the boot. Hold on a minute - when you started this thread you were feeling gutted because you didn't think you got the job. Now your article will have to be titled "how I got a massive pay increase by turning up to a job interview in full bike gear". Should the "by" be replaced with "despite" or even "regardless of"? I still haven't managed to find out WHAT you are actually teaching. English? Anyway, I'm sure you whip the little blighters in to line (I assume you can do that). Good luck with the new job. -- Don't get a car with that extra money

Congrats Betty! -- As your attorney, I advise you to rent a very fast car with no top. And you'll need the cocaine. Tape recorder for special music. Acapulco shirts. Get the hell out of L.A. for at least 48 hours. Blows my weekend.

Next year, though, they'll be wanting to make better use of my ESL teaching - the ESL qualification was apparently a big thing in my favour, as they don't have anybody there qualified to teach it, and they have a growing population of kids who need it. Most of my golden moments in teaching have come from ESL classes, so I'll be looking forward to that. > Good luck with the new job. > > -- > Don't get a car with that extra money LOL, as if! The extra money will make replacing the SV easier, coz it's almost worn out now <evil grin> betty
