Stripped down the top end on my spare KMX200 engine from the barn. I had no
idea what state this was in, as it was bought as a non-runner/spares lump.
Head is of a later design. Very different from the original early one and
also mint. The piston is a nearly new genuine Kawasaki part with almost nil
trace of any wear apart from some _very_ slight scores..
Best of all is the barrel. Some kind/wealthy previous owner has had a
luverly chrome-moly sleeve pressed into the barrel. No more nikasil woes for
me. Yuss!
So for the price of a top end gasket set and a pair of circlips, we should
be back on the trail at the weekend.

So now you can get the old one fixed ready for the next time ........
