No, it's just fine. I hope it helps you with your fork questions.

I'm just ranting about something that doesn't have anything to do with
you in particular.

[to rant: excessive verbiage, characteristic of usenet, to demonstrate
outrage at some moral or ethical transgression which generally has
nothing to do with the topic at hand]

Please, excuse me.

It's been my experience that I have always gotten an Owner's Manual
free with every new bike I've ever purchased. If I wanted the full-on
Service Manual, which I believe Joza was looking for, I had to buy it
from the dealer. This has been true with every bike I've ever
purchased, whether street or dirt.

I was quite incensed when I found out the only Service Manual
available for my KTM was on a CD. I didn't appreciate Eric coming in
here and getting on my computer when he was all greasy and pissed off.
Not to mention we always take the service manuals with us when we
travel with the bikes. Never know when you're going to have to rebuild
the motor in camp <G> I took it to work and printed the whole thing
out and put it in a binder.

Tami-

Wait...I take that back; I had to get a private investigator involved
in order to secure an owner's manual for my GasGas.

Aaaand, my favorite employee at my favorite KTM dealer sent me my very
own KTM Service Manual CD free of charge <G>

I understand you now. I buy used bike, and owners manual i don`t have.
And i think the fork ustion is not in owners its only in service manual. And
service manual
have only dealers...

On internet i find but is about 30 - 50 $...

I can't say for sure with Joza, or Kawasaki of Croatia, but in the US
I'm fairly certain that all Japanese mx-oriented bikes come with a
combined "Owner's/Service Manual" that has virtually all the
information you'd need to do all the service work needed. Yes, it is
not the full-on Dealers Service Manual, but it probably contains 99%
of what you'll ever need, from engine rebuild to steering head bearing
replacement to fork servicing to silencer re-packing. (I can only say
with 100% certainty that this is true for Yamaha. Maybe Yamaha is the
only one...I'm curious now.)

In contrast, the Japanese *street* bikes I've owned come with an
Owner's Manual only, very limited in the service issues--primarily how
to change oil and brake pads, and do the minimal adjustments to
suspension and controls. I can say with certainty this applies to
Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha.

I have been known to take a manual with me to the "library" just to
stay busy whilst otherwise occupied...
