As far as I can tell, that's the first time I've seen an Owner's Service Manual available in PDF format available to download from the Japanese manufacturers. I'm sure that's a mistake on NB Supercycle's part, I noticed that there is no link to that page from the Dealer's site anywhere, and if you try to back up a link or two from the URL, you get an access denied page. It's probably for their own internal use, and someone let the secret out. Get it while you can, as Janis once sung. -- Charles '99 YZ250

I still have a hard time figuring out why someone would need the manual for a late model dirt bike. THEY GIVE THEM AWAY FREE WITH EVERY PURCHASE. So if the thing is stolen and you didn't get a chance to nab the manual, you've got a helluva deal anyway so why not just pay for the damn manual. If you bought the bike used, would you really trust buying it from some schnook who can't even keep track of the manual for a couple years, on something that is so mechanically refined and complex that it requires a 370 page manual to keep it running? Just walk away from the deal. If you can't resist, because it's such a great deal, see above. Judging from the torn and oil & grease-stained condition of my manuals, I sure as hell wouldn't want to try to work from a pdf file either. Doesn't fit well in my garage, although maybe MW Inc could pull it off. -- Charles '99 YZ250 |
