Any suggestions on what a middle aged biker should or shouldn't take to keep
his body(bones) strong in case of an accident? I take acid blockers as a
treatment for Acid Reflux Disease. Now I find that the wonder drugs actually
inhibit calcium and other important nutrients from going into my system. I
am afraid
this has exacerbated the compound fracture in my leg.

Any thoughts?

thanks,

1. Stop pigging out at the dinner table;

2. Stop taking the acid blockers;

3. Sleep sitting up;

4. Take calcium tablets.

Thanks, but, I have to keep my foot elevated above my heart when I lie
down.

None, but it's a thought-provoking posting, and I'd be interested in any
responses, too, given that I'm (on the statistics) two-thirds of the way
through my allotted span.

Is that because of your broken leg, or did you have some reason for
elevating your foot *before* the latest in your endless string of
misfortunes?
