For the record: my biggest problem that I haven't been able to overcome is the amount of time I'd need to commit to doing something like this. Driving, it would use virtually my year's worth of vacation less what I save for the week between Christmas and New Years. Flying would obviously cut that in half and it's what I try to work out every year, but it's difficult. More so this year. Bottom line: heave all scorn this way. I can take it.
