The start-up problems you have described seem to fit the pattern. If you can, I would suggest removing and reseating the memory DIMMS a few times to clean the contacts. There will probably be 2 in the beast, one may be "hidden" under the keyboard, the other normally under a flap in the base. I've seen an Acer with identical symptoms that worked OK like that. |
