What is worse than locking your keys in your car or locking yourself
out of the house?

I seem to remember one year when they were working on the International
Space Station and they had to spend some time in an escape capsule or
something external related to maintenance, they quoted one of the astronauts
as saying that a great amount of the preparation was being SURE that when
they exited the space station they could get back in again.

That would be a fairly ugly way to go ... it takes too long.
