From: SloCalSpode on 5 Apr 2010 09:48 Okay, where is my morning wake-up call from Tiago? Yesterday's earthquake was a doozie. Since I slept through the first one I can not compare them. The 7.2 in Baja, ~130 miles south of here, gave us a rolling motion for a good 45 seconds to a minute. Longest lasting one that I ever remember. Water sloshing out of the pool, cars rocking back and forth that did not have their parking brakes set. It did not set off any car alarms that I heard. I may go shopping for a generator and a water purifier. Cheers, sit down and hang on tight. From: SloCalSpode on 5 Apr 2010 17:24 I do have a boat in the driveway if things get really bad. At that point we will all have more things to worry about that a silly earthquake. Wife is long time friend of a guy who is a professional photographer, as his gift, he gave us professional photos. One DVD worth of pictures. He promised to put it on the mail this week, as soon as I get it, I'm selecting the best and will make an of topic wedding report. -- T |
