From: Nige on 18 Jun 2010 11:36 Monday marathon, Bradford to Brighton & back in the day :) R1 style... OK, whats the best way on the M25, around lunchtime, anticlockwise are the roadworks still there near M40 etc? Obviously, i'll be hitting the M25 at the M1 intersection... I like going the clockwise direction, that time of day cause any strife? -- Nige, Land Rover 90 Yamaha R1 Range Rover Vogue

Yeah, i was thinking the A1, not many coppers about & I know it well enough for speed cams etc. I wont make the mistake i did the first time i went over the bridge on a bike...pulled into the services to get some money etc, only to find on the way out there's a sign saying bikes are free..... -- Nige, Land Rover 90 Yamaha R1 Range Rover Vogue

As suggested, take the A1 and Dartford crossing. Unless you like spending several hours filtering through stationary traffic, anyway. -- ogden | gsxr1000 | rgv250

Eh? I did J21A to J14 and back yesterday and didn't hit any roadworks at all, also the 50 limit has been lifted between Nottingham and Sheffield so it's now 4 lanes at 70 (or higher, as the cameras weren't fitted last time I looked). > >As suggested, take the A1 and Dartford crossing.
