I'd looked at those and was giving them a bit of consideration but my
only concern is whether or not I'd be better to change the front as
well rather than mix one with a Bridgestone front.

I'd say you'd be OK mixed as its not uncommon to run different tyres front
and rear on a s'moto.

I don't normally get precious about mixing tyres but they'd be a
completely different type of tyre with one resembling a race inter and
the other a sticky road tyre. My only worry would be if it pissed with
rain and the front went for a walk before the back was ready to
accompany it iyswim.

At 60 a pop, I'd be inclined to swap both out and use the spare front for
emergencies.

Motorad recently did an Enduro tyre test thingy wot was copied into the
Beemer magasine.

Conti Trail Attack came out on top. Amongst other things they had a
projected life of 13k(kms)

Test headings included:
Wet/Dry handling(also in curves)
Steering precision
Handling in Curves
Stability(touring, sport and with pillion)
Self righting tendency on braking etc etc

Test was done at Goodyear test track at Merival(Fr) on representative
R1200GS, then driven Stuttgart to Sicily.
They were tested against
Avon Distanzias
Bridgestone Battlewing
Dunlop D607
Metzler Tourance
Michelin Anakee II
Pirelli Skorpiom MT90

More details available, if you're interested.
