I doubt this reply will change anything but I replied with this:

I appreciate the rapid response but a lack of content aside from
rubbishing the status quo is not likely to garner my vote for your
party. The link to the $10 quote is invalid, do you have a link to any
policies or studies that will assuage my concerns and show things *will*
change for the better should either Libs or Nats win the next NSW election ?

I don't mean to sound unappreciative but the reply doesn't really tell
me anything and comes across as a bit of a rant, rather than an
informational reply.

Quick response again no real detail but I've asked to receive updates..
Will post as they arrive.

Thank you for your email. I understand your frustration and I sincerely
hope this email will clarify the current CTP green slip situation and
our position.

You might like to know that last year in Parliament the NSW Libs & Nats
expressed our concerns regarding the escalating cost of green slips for
motorcycles. Our Shadow Treasurer, Mike Baird, called on the Government
to keep an eye on the costs of CTP green slips for motorcycles to ensure
that they are properly managed and to ensure that green slip prices
remain low.

But we have heard from many people, including yourself, that green slip
levies have increased, not by 5 per cent or 10 per cent but by 85 per
cent, which is just unfair.

In regards to your question about our policies: at the moment we are
investigating the issue and trying to obtain as much as information as
possible from the Motor Accidents Authority and the NSW Government
relating to these increases and also actual crash statistics to see how
the current arrangements can be improved. As you can imagine, it has
been quite hard as there is not much data publicly available so we have
to go through formal Government Information procedures to be able to
develop a comprehensive policy.

We really believe this issue should be a priority for any Government and
we will certainly take on the responsibility to ensure that we do all we
can to minimise these costs.

Thanks heaps for all this Yeebok. If 10 more people do it, it will
get a lot of attention in their deliberations.

It is my guess they know they will get this election (although I
thought that last time, talk about defeat from the jaws of victory!)
and they will be wanting to win the next one.

So they do have an incentive to do a few things in their first term.
