My usual old favourite (GIO) has gone up about $28 If I select a 30
June date and 1 July date.

MAA comparison calculator lists increases of around 20-150 bucks.

Some quotes have dropped in price..that's for the ludicrously over-the-
top quoters that quote 600-700 bucks. eg NRMA, Allianz.

I also did a what-if re: 3 demerit points all remained unconcerned
except I think Allianz that deemed such a reckless mark is worth an
extra $150 for the sin.

So according to the majority of CTP insurers, a few points makes no
difference to their risk profile.

Likewise I dont understand how having NRMA roadside assistance cover
should affect my risk profile (unless there's some discount/bundling
involved in the calcs).

I hate June/July....car rego, bike rego, frickin golf club fees...tis
a bad month.

Might get me one of those dinky nambi pambi z50's and use it for the
golf course too.

Shannons renewal..(they resell GIO), 20% cheaper than GIO's. Must dig
out last years premium and compare but Shannon's gets the guernsey
again. They wont be listed on the MAA greenslips site so worth trying
offsite for some quotes.

For those not already aware, the Ulysses Club has a deal on Green Slips
in NSW.

Potential savings in GS is enough for several mates of mine to have joined.

After all, you don't HAVE to:- go to meetings
have U.C. badges all over your bikes
even admit to anyone that you are a member
