No, we're not. But it was said that pretty much the sole grounds for
demanding that "Australian" spellings be used was that we are in
Australia. I was simply pointing out that even on that rather poor
basis, there are any number of very valid grounds for NOT using
"Australian" spellings even so. My example was simply one such example.

I think it's just a side-effect from hanging around you lot too much.

Maybe not directly, but surely you're smart enough to realise the actual
intent of your words? When you say "you MUST use OUR spelling, because
its OURS", what is that if not a statement of implied superiority? As
for the bigotry, look no further than your supporting criticisms that it
is preferable because it is NOT the spelling used by a certain other
culture.

If you wish to avoid claims of superiority and bigotry, then your
support for "Australian" spellings needs to be given without derogatory
references to other cultures, and in a way that demonstrates some degree
of objective understanding of evidence/argument that does not rely on
denigrating other forms, but rather demonstrates advantages not
otherwise possible.

But if you wish to continue to base your opposition to other forms on
the sole basis of their association with another culture (as you have
been doing), irrespective of the fact that they were actually originated
within your own culture anyway, then you must accept that you will
expose yourself to accusations of cultural bigotry. Because that's
exactly what it is, whether you like it or not.

I believe your example was for language to be used outside Australia. So not
a valid example. Sorry

You know the intent of my words? Maybe you infer the intent of my words.

You may not be aware that English was not my first language as I was not
born in Oz, so am slightly confused as to what you think my 'culture' might
be. I do sometimes have difficulty with English, as she is writ,
particularly when the rules conflict with the rules of my first language. I
suspect you don't have that problem.
