I finally got my new meter at the start of this week. After 6 days the
score is, I have purchased 22kWh at an average price of 19.5c/kWh from
them, and they have purchased 25kWh at 66c/kWh from me. I can't wait
till winter is over.

How many panels have you got? At this time of year I'm lucky to
generate 2 units a day from my 6 x 200 watt panels. Are they paying
you for gross generation or export only?

2520watts. In Vic the premium tariffs are for export only. Today it
generated 11kWh and exported 10 of those.

Have you got a tracking system to get that 11 Kw?
Mine is north orientated and I can only get about 6.5Kw this weather

You're not at home during the day then, and you're not using much
power at night. My generation for the week ending today was 20 units
of which I sold 5 back to Synergy. My average consumption was 18 units
per day, 20 counting the generated units I used myself. OTOH I don't
have any water connection meaning I need to pump all the water to my
house from the 127,000 litre rain tank. For the garden I pump the
water from the bore to a 22,500 litre tank during off-peak time and
pump it from there to the gardens, mostly also during off-peak times.
If I had mains water I would be paying $1000 a year in water rates.
Instead it costs me electricity.

Must buy more panels. My inverter is good for 2200 watts.
