Yeah, i'm not sure exactly how you think that underlining the point i
was making is disappointing to me, but thank you anyway. You're
obviously not up to date with Victorian current affairs with regard to
meter rollouts and ToU billing.

OK. Maybe Smart metres and Bidirectional meters are different things
in Vic. In WA I've had time of day billing for ten years. We have four
time of day rates, Peak, Off-Peak, Shoulder and weekend rates. Our
bidirectional smart meters measure export to the grid on each of those
four rates, and crediting me with the export energy at the cost of
those rates less the GST. My meter does not measure total solar
generation as the solar energy is connected between the meter and the
house.

I've had a Smart Time-of-use meter for ten years George. Other people
in WA have had Smart meters long before that. I had one installed for
the work server room a few years before I had one at home. When I had
thwe solar panels installed ladst June the meter was swapped out for a
bidirectional Smart meter. I was certainly not the first person to get
one.

It's hardly my fault if they were not invented in Vic until last year.

LOL. What a pathetic apologist. He was only the second ever standing
prime minister to lose his seat. It's the greatest insult that could
ever befall a pollie, and was probably the worst moment in his life
until the ICC members refused to vote on his nomination as ICC
president. They say good things always come in threes... me thinks he
better steer clear of The Hague.

There you go, Nev, we can agree on something.
