It may not yet be time for those questions. Isn't this current version
ready to race in a series specifically for this type of vehicle? The
patents you get from your research efforts may well be extremely important
in the future.

This is a very cool idea and I agree 100% that the future for
motorcycles is electric. All that's left is to invent a battery that
is the same size and weight as a full gasoline tank, with equivalent
mileage and not too expensive. I don't think this will take long.

In my country 70% of the electricity is generated by using hydro
power. So at least for me, running one of these would be almost zero
emission.

Zero Motorcycles is selling their off road bikes here. Still a little
bit too pricey, but already an option. http://www.zeromotorcycles.com/

Perhaps getting off topic to some degree but something not to totally
discount. Kind of repeating what I watched on the PBS news hour last month
or so.

The rare earth elements, While China may have say half of the rare earth
deposits they currently refine 98% of the rare earth elements. It is a very
dirty process. If I recall things like windmill generators and solar cells
use these things. Perhaps laptop batteries. Certain countries are passing
laws requiring "renewable sources of electricity generation" but in
actuality if the source of rare earth elements evaporates the landscape
changes. While the piece didn't suggest that the source of rare earth
elements was going to dry up it did suggest that China may well not want to
export them as basically a raw material but instead as finished product
forcing the high teck manufacturing to their country. Just something to
keep in the back of the mind.

Watts the problem with a race series?
How do you specify engine size? It may be a moot point in the
beginning if there's only one manufacturer. Will racing rules force
other manufacturers to eschew alternative design philosophies, or will
racing rules encourage innovation?

I'm sure the AMA will be very helpful with our best interests at
heart. LOL

They'll be worried about how to make electrics go potato potato.

Watts up?

Exactly. The who eco-thing is a sham. Lefties simply want to BAN
anything and everything that they aren't interested in. Did you know
that a horse has a much bigger "carbon footprint" than a dirtbike?
Yup, and they're good eatin' too. There will be no difference in
shutting down of riding areas, its just that enforcement will be a
little different.

Ahh, now your gettin' it.

Tell Jeremy McGrath that.
