If it wasn't for Hitler and my father being evacuated to Herefordshire, where he adopted a faux rural heritage, that would've been my heritage. They seem to think they're being clever - which must make Chris Moyles a comdedy genius. -- SteveH

I thought it was quite amusing as youtube, musical, self-parodies go. The Gavin Henson, chips, chees & curry and Chinese Province references got a chuckle. -- wessie at tesco dot net BMW R1150GS

Other references are wider, Welsh cultural references, again part of the Newport psyche. I think a lot of people travelling to see the Ryder Cup are going to have a big shock. Newport may be twinned with Guangxi Province but this event is not going to be any Beijing style event. I see Newport is also twinned with Kutaisi in Georgia, which probably better represents the level of organisation... -- wessie at tesco dot net BMW R1150GS
